Election Day

HOW TO REQUEST YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT

  1. Request your mail-in ballot online or at your Local Board of Elections. Visit elections.maryland.gov/voting/absentee.html.

    1. Important Deadlines:

      1. Receive In Person: July 19

      2. Receive By Mail or Fax: July 12

      3. Receive Online: July 15

  2. When requesting your mail-in ballot, pick whether you want to receive your ballot by mail, by fax, or online. Ballots are sent about 3 weeks before Election Day.

  3. After filling out your ballot, you can deliver your ballot in the following ways:

    1. Hand deliver to your local Board of Elections, an early voting center, or a ballot drop off box by 8 PM on Election Day. Ballot drop off locations can be viewed at https://elections.maryland.gov/voting/documents/Primary_Ballot_Drop_Box_List.pdf.

    2. Mail your ballot. Your ballot must be postmarked on or before Election Day.

EARLY VOTING

You can vote early from Thursday, July 7, through Thursday, July 14, 2022. Early voting centers will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM.

PRIMARY ELECTION DAY JULY 19

Polling places will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, July 19, from 7 AM - 8 PM. Anyone in line at 8 PM will be allowed to vote.
