Herald-Mail: Letter to the Editor: About doing away with the Maryland Board of Public Works

“I have a question for Marylanders: Why do we have a governor if the Democratic legislators keep passing bills to usurp his authority? Now, they want to do away with the Board of Public Works because Franchot does not agree with what they want to do and he’s a Democrat. So, they’re rushing a bill through to do away with the Board of Public Works. This board has worked just fine since the Schaefer administration back in the 80s. So, why do they want to change it now? Because, they can’t get their way in Annapolis. This is just politics at its worst in the state of Maryland.”
