UM Gets Funds For Renovations

The Board of Public Works has approved a $20 million contract to improve energy efficiency in campus buildings at the University of Maryland in College Park.
The contract, approved Wednesday, will be used to buy and install efficient electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment in some of the campus' oldest buildings.
